Flat6Labs, a prominent startup accelerator in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), has restructured to launch F6 Group, an integrated platform combining venture capital and entrepreneurial support. At the heart of this transformation is F6 Ventures, a new seed-stage investment firm dedicated to addressing the early-stage funding gap in the region.
F6 Ventures is co-founded by Dina el-Shenoufy and Ramez El-Serafy, who bring decades of experience in venture capital and entrepreneurship. The firm is headquartered in Cairo, with offices in Riyadh, Abu Dhabi, Amman, Tunis, and Nairobi, positioning it to support startups across the MENA region.
With over $90 million in assets under management across six funds, F6 Ventures aims to bridge the critical funding gap at the pre-seed and seed stages. The firm plans to raise its assets under management to $200 million and invest in more than 200 companies over the next five years.
F6 Ventures operates alongside Flat6Labs, which continues to offer acceleration programs, mentorship, and ecosystem development across emerging markets. This dual approach allows F6 Group to provide comprehensive support to startups, from initial funding to growth and scaling. The integrated structure ensures alignment between capital and programmatic support, enhancing the chances of startup success in the region.
As F6 Ventures embarks on this new chapter, it is poised to play a pivotal role in the MENA startup ecosystem. By combining financial backing with strategic support, F6 Ventures aims to empower the next generation of entrepreneurs, driving innovation and economic growth across the region.
